Level 1.
In this section, we require:
- At the very most, two paragraphs (or approximately 200 words) per IC post, no more.
- Posts written in English and that have been passed through a spell checker.[/size]
WARNING: If we find a minimum of three posts in a roleplay which violate the guides set in place for the section its in, the participants of that thread will be told and asked to bring it to the level required.
If we find three NEW posts which still don't meet our section guidelines, we'll move the roleplay to a section we feel is more appropriate. This is just to keep everything in the right area, don't worry. We won't be mad at you.

Howdy and welcome to the Level 1 roleplaying section.
Here's where you can cut loose and learn the ropes of text based RPing without any kind of pressure on you to produce posts of a certain quality. Or, if you're just in a casual mood and don't really feel up to a very serious, length intensive roleplay, then here's where you put up your feet, sit back and enjoy yourself with casual writing.
Here at The Writing Buzz, we feel it is best to separate roleplayers into 3 categories determined by skill level. This isn't to form any sort of elitist clique, but simply to ensure that everyone is able to play with people of their own general 'level'. It can be extremely daunting to be a new writer and end up in a thread with people that are writing eight paragraphs a post. Likewise, it can be limiting to the writer that wants to be writing extremely detailed posts but finds himself in a roleplay that doesn't allow it. For this reason, we think it works best for everyone if you can pick and choose exactly what sort of roleplay you're looking for.
Since you're here in the Level 1 category, let's talk a bit more about what you'll find here. First off - and most important of all - there is no minimum length requirement for IC posts. That means you can say as little as you're comfortable with. Obviously we still ask that you try to give your fellow roleplayers something to work with, but as said before, this is a pressure-free area where you can learn how to do things at your own pace.
There is a maximum post length, though. 200 words or 2 decent sized paragraphs is the most we want in this section. This is to keep things from getting too serious and too advanced for any of our newcomers. Any roleplay in the Level 1 section containing numerous posts exceeding that length will need to be moved to Level 2.
If you find that your roleplay is no longer the quality/level you planned for it to be, please contact a member of staff to have it moved to the appropriate section.
And as always, all forum rules apply. If you have any problems please don't hesitate to message me. I'd be happy to explain things in further detail if you should need a bit of clarification.

- EXAMPLE OF AN AVERAGE LEVEL 1 POST:
- Britney made a great show of shrugging and started to nibble on some peanuts from a bowl on the bar in front of her. "I dunno ... guess I just figured I'd work it out as I went along." Another mouthful and some thoughtful chewing followed. "I mean, how hard can it be to find the most powerful vamp in the city? Set up a meeting? Hell, even you must have some connections, working here."
